Austin Beerworks is a collection of four friends spanning from the East coast to Austin, united and “hell-bent on excellence” in beer making. The beerworkers, Michael, Will, Adam and Mike, have raised an impressive production brewery and cannery in the northwest sector of town since our last issue in April. With two beers on tap (the Peacemaker Extra Pale and Fire Eagle IPA) and two more conditioning in tanks (the Pearl-Snap Pils and Black Thunder Schwarz) the four friends have come storming out of the gates and onto the Austin beer scene. The Austin Beerworkers fellows aim to make super tasty, yet drinkable beers, perfect for our refined, but also often heat-parched Austin palates. This summer should witness the release of all four beers, and for tubing’s sake, some local product in cans and on shelves.
