Brian Peters Talks Texas Craft Brewers Festival

We spent an evening with the always entertaining “Swifty” Brian Peters recently to talk about the Texas Craft Brewers Festival (TCBF). Last year was a hit and we’re even more excited about what’s in store for this coming THIS Saturday, 2-8pm at Fiesta Gardens. With nearly 30 TX breweries and 115ish beers pouring, it’s going to be something you do not want to miss.

You’ve heard us say this a few times before, but I’ll say it again- THIS IS NOT A FLY-BY-NIGHT, AMATEUR HOUR, FRAT HOUSE, CASH GRAB, SHIT SHOW, BEER FESTIVAL like a few our fair city’s suffered recently.

The TCBF has history in Austin, is the ONLY festival organized and affiliated by the the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, and also the only festival supported by this fine publication.

Overall, it’s a great event and great way to try several beers both local and from around the state that you may not get to try regularly. Check out our Guide to the TCBF in the Fall Issue (pg 29). There are a good amount of beers that are either debuting or ONLY available at the festival.

Last we heard VIP tickets were getting close to selling out, but general admin tickets were still available (we recommend going VIP if you can, so act fast.)

OK, enough from us, check out what Mr. Peters has to say about it.
