Oh yeah! Everyone’s favorite quarterly-half-assed event is back.
This go round is hosted by our friends at Hopfields, and we’ll be breaking in their new patio area (so it’s not so “new” but the weather is finally nice enough to really appreciate it).
Besides the release of the Fall issue, there will be a plethora of beers pouring on that glorious patio. It will be a “buy the beer, keep the glass” scenario with either a brewery branded glass or a Hopfields glass for you, our reader, TO KEEP FOREVER!
Confirmed breweries so far:
512: Firkin of Cafe Ole` (Pecan Porter with coffee and lactose)
Jester King: Firkin of Buddhas Brew Collaboration
Hops and Grain: Bourbon Barrel ALTeration and Dark IPA
Thirsty Planet: Octoberfest (commercial debut!)
Real Ale: Something so spectacular we don’t even know what it is (at the time of publishing this post)
Plus a few others possibly to be announced in the coming days
The details:
- Thursday, September 27 from 6-???
- Hopfields- 3110 Guadalupe St. Austin, Texas 78705
- Parking available all around Hopfields including the parking garage off of 31st and Guadalupe
- Tickets for the beers will go on sale the day of with casks and kegs being tapped at 6PM
