To all of you who eagerly scanned that QR code on the Podcast page of the Summer Guide and were so disappointed not to get to the podcast that correlated wt the images and quotes, we’re sorry.

But here it is! We now enter the fourth series of our Podcast, this one called “Podcast’n at the Ol’ Live Oak”, or at least I’m pretty sure that’s what we settled on.

We’re joined by Chris Cherry and Nicko Tonks of Live Oak and the always funny Bryan Gutmann, and recorded on an unseasonably pleasant evening in early Summer on the East side at Live Oak.

This episode gets pretty nerdy. We discuss the mythical/historical background of the name “Primus” and how Arlington played a role in it, the difference between Live Oak Liberation IPA and Live Oak IPA, the proper pronunciation of “roggenbier” and how not to be made fun of by Germans when speaking the title as an American, Live Oak’s new casking opportunities and Chip’s disapproval of it, and Live Oak’s recent international medal winning.

It’s a fun one and plenty chock full of beer talk. Cherry and Tonks are some great guests and don’t hold back at all.

So listen up and pretend you’re drinking (or actually drink) some fresh Live Oak beers whilst you do.

Enjoy!
